Two Days of Realistic Defensive Training. Zero Live Fire. All Real-World Skills.
Fullerton, California
2 Days | In-Person | Limited Seats
Pre-Registration Pricing Ends September 30
The World Has Changed. Are You Prepared?

You don't have to look far to see how quickly an ordinary day can turn tragic.
Mass shootings.
Follow-home robberies.
Political and corporate assassinations.
And then there's the majority of gun violence that doesn't always grab the headlines but are far more common — domestic disputes, workplace grievances, and gang-related drive-bys.
These types of shootings happen everywhere, from the barrios of Santa Ana to the "safe" suburbs of Irvine.
You can't always predict where and when violence will happen.
But you can decide how prepared you'll be if it does.
That's what this seminar is about.
Not living in fear.
But also not pretending nothing bad ever happens.
It's about being ready to recognize a threat, respond decisively, and help save lives when seconds count.
Prepare, Empower & Protect
Build Skills That Work Beyond the Range

That's why this hands-on event focuses on what happens before, during, and immediately after a violent encounter.
The Modern Self-Protection Seminar will uncover key concepts to dealing with an armed threat — and how to get your own firearm into play:
-
Situational and Positional Awareness: Learn how to develop a human radar and why your position matters just as much.
-
Threat Assessment: Discover the signs of an impending armed attack and how to avoid one.
-
Home Defense: Protecting your loved ones means more than just buying a firearm and locking it in a safe.
-
The 7 Fundamentals of Shooting: Integrate the keys to accurate, effective fire.
-
Pistol Anatomy: Understand the differences between revolvers and semi-automatics.
-
Distance Management: Delve into the differences between long-range targets and close-quarter entanglements.
-
From Empty Hands to Holster: Because — unless you're a soldier on patrol — you won't have a weapon in hand when violence knocks, you have to know how to transition as quickly, and safely, as possible.
- Drawing Your Handgun: A sub-2-second draw at the range is one thing, but creating the space to do it while under attack is another thing entirely.
What Happens When You CAN'T Draw?

Maybe the gunman snuck up on you.
Perhaps you left your concealed carry pistol at home.
Or it could be that you don't own a firearm in the first place.
What do you do if you're facing a shooter while unarmed?
This two-day event will also take a deep dive into what to do if you're facing an armed robber or mass shooter without a weapon, including these key combat concepts:
-
Fight-Ending Strikes: Unleash the 4 most effective empty-hand techniques to stop an assault in seconds.
-
Pistol Defense: Develop the fastest (and safest) path to redirecting your attacker's muzzle away from you.
-
Gun Disarms: We're not gonna lie — attempting to disarm a gun-wielding thug is dangerous. Our method minimizes the risks while taking control.
-
Mass-Shooter Survival Strategy: Learn why "Run, hide, fight" is not an ideal strategy — and what to do instead.
- Rifle Response: Don't become a casualty; discover these 3 keys to stopping a shooter's long-gun if you're unarmed.
Bonus: Get Certified in the Stop the Bleed® Program

The Modern Self-Protection Seminar will also teach you something you're far more likely to use than a weapon in your everyday life: emergency medical aid.
-
First Aid Fundamentals: Whether it's a gunshot wound, stabbing, traffic collision, or a household accident, you can make a huge difference before paramedics arrive.
-
Tourniquet Tactics: Learn the proper way to use this life-saving device.
-
Gauze & Chest Seals Forget Hollywood action scenes; practice how to pack and seal a wound correctly.
-
Certified Life-Saver: As official Stop the Bleed® instructors, we will not only teach you this bleeding-control training but we can also certify you in this course from the American College of Surgeons.
-
Post-Incident Protocol: Know how to call for help, what to say to the 911 operator, and what to do when police arrives.

Why No Live Fire?
Because This Seminar Isn't About Putting Holes in Paper Targets.
Many self-defense instructors have a one-dimensional approach to personal protection. They focus on the toolset (be it a handgun, fixed blade, or pepper spray) and treat it like a magic wand.
Just point and poof — the bad guy disappears.
But reality is NOT so simple and far messier.
What matters most in a life-and-death situation is the ability to recognize a lethal threat, protect yourself and your loved ones, and either avoid or eliminate the danger.
That's why this seminar flips the shoot-first paradigm and instead focuses on teaching you the Tiga Tactics Pyramid of Personal Protection™:

Instead of overlying on toolset, you'll develop two attributes that are far more important in a violent encounter: mindset and skillset.
After all, pulling a trigger is the easy part — even a child can do that.
The hard part is getting to your gun while someone is trying to shoot, stab, or suckerpunch you.
Rubber handguns and laser training pistols allow you to safely focus on the skillsets that let you "earn your draw":
- Recreating realistic scenarios
- Repeated draws under stress
- Weapon retention under pressure
- Gun disarms
- Transitions from strikes to draw to shooting.
Essentially, you're freed up to develop a wider range of skills (both empty hand and with a weapon) so you can develop vital decision-making in a safe, controlled environment.
